FMP filming of video shoot
For my video shoot I used two sets of people. Both of these sets of people know each other so they are familiar with each other's styles. I had to change one of the friend's outfit to a style they would never wear. The point of this is to capture the friend's reaction and to capture the body language of the subject that outfit that has been changed for the shoot. The change of clothes became a success because the reactions from my subjects were that they were really surprised by their friend's change of clothes and this reaction lasted throughout the video. Two of my original models cancelled at the last minute. I had asked two friends as back up and they turned out better as these two knew each other longer which made the change of clothing more personal to them and I felt that the body language was stronger as they where more comfortable. As I hadn't had any previous experience with videos so I had to learn on the go. I had used a camera , lighting , a back drop, sound recorder but in the end I only used the camera and lighting. It turned out that the room I had was really small so I had to work round with the angle of the video. I adapted around it and got a knee to head shoo. It turned out that I would focus more on the body language and facial expressions. When it came to my painted acetate it blurred because it focused more on the model which was an unexpected effect. For the next stage I would have to edit the video to the extent where the sound is not the focus. The questions I asked was to provoke actions from each other which gave better reactions. While filming I thought I would edit out my voice and have just the voices of the models.
