We had to manipulate paper either concentrating on structure , image and texture , I choose texture. For one I weaved newspaper and yellow paper strips into each other. Another way I has layer brown and yellow paper rolled the sides inwards then with sissors curl the the ends. Another I did an origami flower. I had also scored lines in to a rectangles then rolled it up . And for my final one I had used brown an green paper and stapled the ends.
Throughout the making I had come to realise I focus on a flower shapes . I was to change the way I had created some of the pieces I would have made different versions of each to see a better interpretation .
I find your samples really interesting and like the way it contains different texture in each one. I especially admire your last sample as it gives off a solid impression indicating it to be a stable structure to work with. I really like the ideas you produced, you can see you had thought through well before designing.
